The Storage section is used to view and manage the storage devices available to the PBX system. Storage is used for system files, call recordings, voicemail files, and other audio-related data depending on the system configuration.
The PBX supports both local storage and external USB storage for saving recordings.
By default, the PBX saves all call recordings to the local storage. The local disk is always available and ensures that recording operations continue without requiring additional configuration.
When an external USB storage device is inserted, the system will automatically detect and mount the device. Once mounted, the PBX will redirect recording storage to the USB device. This process requires no manual intervention from the administrator.
Auto Delete Recordings
The Auto Delete Recordings Confirmation dialog appears when an administrator enables automatic deletion of call recordings. This confirmation ensures that the administrator understands the impact before activating the setting.
When enabled, the system will permanently delete CDR recordings automatically once storage usage reaches 90%.
